FEES FOR 2021/2022
2021-2022 Termly Fees
Fees include trips and excursions (non-residential), craft and cookery materials, sports including tennis & swimming, all associated transport, break time refreshments and most activities taught by peripatetic specialists.
Pre-School £25 per session (am or pm) (15 & 30 hrs funding accepted)
Reception, Year 1 & 2 (Infants) £2600
Year 3, 4, 5 & 6 (Juniors) £2700
All fees are charged per term and are payable in advance, on or before the first day of each term. There are three terms in each academic year.
The school reserves the right to increase the fees without prior notice, although in most cases a terms notice will be given.
Parents are reminded that fees are due to be paid on or before the first day of term. If payment is received later than this, we reserve the right to levy late payment charges composed of simple interest calculated on a daily basis at 1.5% per month, from the first day of each term, and all administration and legal costs in relation to any sums that are unpaid by the due date.
Parents must give one full term’s written notice of their intention to withdraw a pupil or the Registration of a pupil from the School, otherwise fees must be paid in lieu of notice as per the Standard Terms and Conditions.
Registration fee: £50 (non-refundable registration fee) payable when submitting registration form.
Deposit after acceptance: £200 payable on acceptance of a place being offered. This is held on account and refunded at the end of a pupil’s last term, minus any amounts due. Please note that this amount is not refunded when an accepted place is later relinquished.
A 10% discount is given to children who already have one sibling at the school and will be deducted from the lowest fee at that time. The discount will only be applicable as long as all qualifying children from that family remain at the school.
Pre-School and Reception Class
Early Years Funding is available up to the end of the term in which your child turns 5. Therefore, Reception Class fees payable by parents will be minus the amount of funding received. It is expected that Pre-School children will continue in the school so are automatically given a place in Reception Class.
Personal accident is included in the termly fee - (all children in the school are covered). School Fees Protection is optional, this insurance protects against absence through sickness or injury. Please ask for a leaflet.
Before/After School Supervision
Ashbrooke House School & Pre-School offers an After-School Club. This operates from Monday to Friday between the hours of 3.30pm and 6.00pm.
The fee is £2.50 per half hour, with a late charge payable past 6.00pm. The After-School Club is payable at the start of each new term, in arrears.
Parents do not need to book this service in advance, but a member of staff must be notified when their child is dropped off at school.
From 7.45 – 8.30am £3.50 per day including breakfast.
We are delighted to offer children the ability to take extra lessons in the following subjects:
Speech and Drama
At Ashbrooke House School & Pre-School we are continually looking at ways of developing the skills and activities of children in our care. The above list is based on current interest and can be expanded upon as required.
Refund of Fees
No refund of fees is made due to closure of the school because of inclement weather or outbreak of contagious disease. A refund due to absence through sickness is only made if a pupil is covered by the School Fees Protection Scheme.
If a pupil is withdrawn from the School, a term’s notice, in writing, must be given to the Headteacher. Failure to do so will result in a term’s fees being charged.
