Ashbrooke House School offers boys and girls a distinctive, caring and well-disciplined environment in which the widest range of abilities can be encouraged and developed. Good manners, politeness and smart dress are encouraged in all pupils, contributing to an atmosphere conducive to hard work and purposeful activity.

Ashbrooke House School has a Christian ethos and each day begins with an assembly.

Throughout the year the children are given opportunities to contribute to worthwhile causes and be involved with the local community.

Assessments are made of each child’s progress and reported to parents on a regular basis.

Opportunities to meet teachers and discuss progress exist during Open Evenings in October and June with appointments welcome at other times.

The national assessments are made at age 7 and 11 and optional national assessment in English and Mathematics at years 3, 4 and 5. The school provides a broad and balanced curriculum with the National Curriculum as the basis. We have a well-resourced library and an active Friends of Ashbrooke supports the school by organising social and fund-raising events.
